The Exhausting Christmas of 2012

That's right. It's Thursday and I am still trying to recover. Sleeping when your 31 weeks pregnant? Laughable. I literally see every hour on the clock and get up to pee about 8 times a night. Oh, and I love heartburn. It's amazing.

Add a husband who feels the need to sleep in every day in addition to taking a nap? Yeah I am pretty much a ball full of effing sunshine these days :)

But look at this face. To say it's worth it would be an understatement.

My family has the tradition of waiting until midnight to open presents and then eating a big meal after (yup, at like 2:00 am) but since my mom is living with us this Christmas, we decided to just wait until midnight, open presents and then head promptly back to bed. So I tried my hardest and made it to 12:00 (of course waking up Anth at 11:55 because, duh? He was sleeping).

Then we all woke up on Christmas morning to see the excitement on this little girl's face!

She was very concerned with the cookies.

Muscles!

New favorite picture. Also, I swear I was there somewhere.
Guess who wasn't shocked that I managed to get 0 pictures of me and Quinn on Christmas.

Sweet baby.

Husband tried to trick me.

That's ok. Inside the Domino's box was an empty ring box and then this was hanging from the tree.
100 creative points to my 100% un-creative husband.

Oh wait! There is a mommy/Quinn picture. Definitely frameable.

She was excited with the front too, I promise.

Frustrated, bike riding chef.

Lita!

After spending the day eating Dunkin Donuts and watching the Disney parade (and also promising that we would go to Disney on Christmas next year) we headed to Anth's grandma's house to celebrate with his family.

She had a beautiful Christmas dress that ended up fitting horribly and she hated it, so we improvised.
With Mickey of course.

Hey Aunt Tessa! Look what she still does!

Helping Grandad open his presents!

Cousins!

Overall, she was a total angel. Considering she didn't fall asleep on Christmas Eve until almost 11 because she kept screaming "It's Christmas everyone!" I guess we talked up Santa just a tad too much.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas with their families. We are very blessed and continue to pray for those little babies in Newtown. I don't think any parent out there didn't think about them during the holidays.

Here's to an amazing 2013. I have a feeling this year will be the best one yet!
