Harper Grace | 8 Months!

So this is a little late. But does anyone else get kicked in the ass by October?! Between birthdays, anniversaries and trying not to eat all the apple cider donuts, I've had not much free time. And the free time I do have is spent catching up on American Horror Story. (MY GOD. Crazy.)

This little chicky has become quite the handful. We call her trouble. She's been rolling around like crazy, getting on all 4's and starting to crawl a smidge. Which is exciting but at the same time I know having a mobile baby is 100 times scarier.

She lives by her schedule. We've been trying to get her to become a little more flexible when it comes to bedtime and nap time. Especially bedtime since she goes to bed around 7:15/7:30 and sometimes when we're out it's a bit of a pain rushing home that early to get her in bed. She's been doing pretty well and last night for Halloween we had her out until 8! And she didn't make us pay for it when we got home so that made me very happy.

She wakes up around 8, naps at 10 and 2 and then is asleep by 7:30. She still gets up around 5/6 for a quick snackeroo and then back down til 8. I am happy with it, but am wondering if she's ever going to drop that 5/6 wakeup.

Overall she is our little ball of sunshine. She smiles and high fives and has even started dancing. It is beyond adorable.

Just like months before I can't believe how fast she is growing and the fact that she will be turning one soon just won't process in my heavily tired brain.

I'm just trying to enjoy this baby-ness because it will be a long while before the next one and I already find myself missing the newborn squishiness. So please, Tessa and/or Jamie I would love to have a newborn to squish soon :)
